SMS sending by MAX router

Hello, I would like to use MAX router for IoT appalications. Our ethernet I/O unit able to send message to the destination UDP or TCP port. If MAX router can listen a TCP/UDP port to get the message and send it as SMS, this feature can open a lot of opportunities. And also I should define an SMS phonebook on MAX router. SMS - Text message using 3G/4G USB (Mobile Internet)

Providers like T-Mobile provide unlimited text message with data plan. It will be great if Peplink can add SMS notification along with email notification using the 3G/4G usb modem.

Feature Request: Allow to send SMS messages from MAX products

Hi, FEATURE REQUEST I really have a requirement to send text messages from my BR1 Mini. My mobile Vendor (O2) makes it REALLY hard to find how much data is remaining on a SIM card. But they do allow requesting this information via SMS. Even my cheap dongle allows me to send texts from the device. Please Peplink would you add this feature? Steve

Hi everyone Is it possible to send SMS messages programmatically with the MAX BR1 Pepwave router from a computer plugged into the router (e.g through AT commands or directly from the command line on the router)? Thanks for your help!

SMS Forwarding

Would it be possible forward TXT messages to another mobile device? Also visibility and storage of TXTs in IC2 with the possibility of forwarding via email (immediately, daily, weekly or monthly email) Would also be good to be able to respond to TXTs as this is sometimes needed to activate options. We just had an issue this week where one of our customers with a HD4 completely went down at 5am. After hours of troubleshooting and us shipping them out a new HD4, we discovered that Rogers the ISP had been sending text messages to all 4 SIMs for a few days basically saying they were using a large amount of data and have been cut off, and to reply “GO” to re-enable data, otherwise it will be enabled at the next billing cycle.
