Very excited to try out this site survey feature.
Where is the documentation on how to use it?

Where is the documentation on how to use it?
The InControl 2.14 webinar has a quick demo showing off how to use it:
I donât consider this feature fully ready for prime time until more modems are supported, but has a very promising future.
Agree on the modem comment.
I saw the webinar - not really documentation.
I tried the on a B1 with a GN product code. The report says no data. I ran it about an hour ago - so maybe Iâm not waiting long enough?
I rebooted the BR1 - now works
Agreed - we could use with some refresh on this.
Hereâs a better guide to walk through this features compatibility and setup
The delay and subsequent fix via reboot are important to document.
@Travis
We really need a way to run the site survey locally , either thru the web UI , CLI , API. even basic results would be fine.
Often we are running the site survey when we have no Internet.
@ChristopherSpitler thoughts ?
Agreed. Other vendor products do a local test routine and then upload results to the management platform. Local test and visibility in the GUI would be great.
Hello @Travis
If we can add our thoughts regarding offline surveying, capturing the matching GPS details aligned with the date and time of the survey is especially useful, as it allows for referencing the location back into reports and other location systems.
For us, it is more about accessing the data later for report processing and solution planning than it would be for on-the-spot assessment, though I can see how that feature is helpful for others here.
Have a good week, Marcus ![]()
While I havenât reviewed the IC2 2.14.1 documentation in full yet, it would be awesome to have:
Trigger a scan manually, in the IC2 and local device UI, with a warning that the radio being used for a scan will be offline for ~5 minutes during the scan.
Be able to trigger a scan via IC2 and local device API, and grab the results via API as well (or, even better, via webhook!!
)
Use IC2 to aggregate data to understand MNO performance fleet-wide
Hi Chris,
#2 the API are already available for Site Survey. They where recently introduced ![]()
Can you let me know where the updates api is that shows this call?
I checked here and itâs not listed.
@Giedrius You pointing me to ic2 APIs.
We are looking for device level API calls.
Hi Jonathan,
in that case you already know the answer that it is not supported today. I passed your message to our engineering team ![]()
