With our newest beta firmware, you can accomplish this. If your older BR1 supports synergy mode, then you can enable that between the BR1 and the B One. You will also need to enable the AP controller on the B One to manage all the AP Ones and BR together. Once that is set up, the BR will show up under the list of APs in the controller section.
Unfortunately it is too old. It needs to be able to run 8.3 or newer, and frankly I wouldn’t recommend trying to do this unless both can run 8.6 - there are plenty of updates to synergy mode and Wi-Fi in general between all those releases. We definatly try to make as many models available for this so you can keep using them, but in this case it’s too far off.
You could probably technically get it to work, but it’s not worth the risk in my opinion. 8.3 and 8.6 are dramatically different in so many ways - hard to predict what could happen mixing them in synergy mode.
@Travis thank you - for fun, I tried to enable Synergy on the BR 1 Mini HW1 running 8.3, but when I looked, option to enable it doesn’t show up in the UI at all. This is consistent with online documentation that it shouldn’t work on 8.3 on this model.
