UPNP on VLAN status?

This post UPnP port forwarders for VLan gateways from 2017 suggested that UPNP is not available on VLANs. I recently had a computer which was on the VLAN, trying to play a video game, and was working poory. After moving it to the untagged LAN it works much better.

Is UPNP still disabled for VLANs? I’m using the 8.0 beta 3 software on a Balance One.

A related question: if I have a device on the Untagged network, and I want to isolate it using the firewall, but I also want it to be able to set up UPNP ports from the router, is this possible?

Internal Network Rules:
Protocol: Any, Source: [device IP], Destination: [Router IP] Action:Allow
Protocol: Any, Source: [device IP], Destination: Any, Action:Deny

My thinking is that UPNP probably requires the device to talk to the Peplink, so I need to allow that connection, but can deny all other internal connections.

Would this work?
