We can add that the UBR-LTE ( https://www.peplink.com/products/ubr-series-ubr-lte/ ) model has to be manually updated also from 8.0.2 to 8.1.0 GA. Attempts via InControl2 or the remote web admin check for an update was resulting in the unit getting stuck on 100% CPU requiring a power cycle.
Doing a locally based upgrade from a locally based computer on the same LAN network worked OK preserved the configuration of the unit.
Note On SpeedFusion
The specification says with encryption that it can do 20Mbps, we could only get it up to 10Mbps (back to a FushionHub in local AWS). Individual throughput tests on each cellular connection are consistently close to 50Mbps, no other connections (ie WAN connection) available at the site. The dips in these speedtest.net images show the change when the SpeedFusion was getting used.
Is it possible that due to WAN Smoothing with encryption running that the 20Mbps is in reference to the combined connections as can be seen in the image of the SpeedFusion throughput graphs?
