The Web Admin SSL Certificate on my Surf SOHO MK3 is valid from Monday, November 17, 2014 to Sunday, November 17, 2019. That strikes me as being fairly close to expiring.
This post suggests that regularly updating the firmware will also update the SSL certificate. The device is running current firmware as of September 21, 2019: 8.0.0. build 1429.
Should I cheerfully assume that an update will be released in the next two months and that it will update the certificate or should I be actively fashioning my own certificate and updating the device?
Note: This is a single device not managed with IC2.
