Hi Pep-folks,
Starlink has a sleep mode/schedule, but it requires local access via the app to set/change. Is there a way to schedule this via a Peplink router that has Starlink integration?

Not yet, but there is a bunch of work underway on the Starlink API integration as I type this…
I concur it would be a nice add to have my Max BR1 Mini HW3 to control the sleep mode/schedule of StarLink. Since May when that discussion was initated and the soon to be released v8.5.0, has the situation evolved?
I am about to add a new Standard Starlink to my MAX BR1 Mini. I realize I don’t know if moving Starlink priority to Standby or Disabled has any impact on operation of the Starlink or if it is just an available WAN selection for the Peplink? If I want to limit Starlink power consumption do I still have to turn off its power?
This is probably a similar question to the Standby issue, but I’m not sure.
I posted about this here: Starlink and Peplink on a Tesla Model Y update 2
If you stow a flat high performance, It will turn off the antennas, and reduce power draw.
Thanks for the info, but I have a Standard Dishy that does not stow. And, its on my boat, not my Tesla. I do have 8.5.1.
“Stow” may still work since the flat high performance dish @Jonathan_Pitts mentioned also does not actually stow (not physically like the original dishes). It’s just a larger version of the standard dish you have.
I don’t have a watt meter handy to verify myself, but it’s worth a try. That is your only Peplink option until future firmware updates are released.
Stow reduces power on all dishes. Confirmed with measurements.
I can’t find anything about “stow” on my Starlink app. There is a “Sleep” function. Is that the same thing? And, why would stow or sleep be better than switching off the power?
The “Stow” option is in InControl, not the Starlink App. It’s effectively the same thing as sleep.
Understood. Thanks.
