Ground Control for Satellite Connections: Introducing MAX Orbit

Ground Control for Satellite Connections

The possibilities in satellite connectivity are expanding. More providers. More capacity. More ways to stay connected.

As organizations adopt services from multiple satellite providers, maximizing performance across these networks requires a new approach.

Introducing the New Peplink MAX Orbit Series .

  • Unified Satellite Management
Manage and monitor your entire multi-provider fleet, including Starlink, OneWeb, and Iridium, from a single, centralized interface via InControl.

  • Gigabit Speeds
Combine multiple satellite terminals with Peplink’s SpeedFusion Bonding to increase uplink and downlink throughput beyond the limits of a single provider.

  • A Scoreboard that Matters
Go beyond raw megabits. SpeedFusion Score tracks latency, jitter, packet delivery, and overall network quality in real time so you can proactively optimize your connection mix.

  • Hybrid 5G Integration
Combine satellite links with supported 5G accessories. This hybrid setup enables 5G and satellite networks to seamlessly back each other up, improving both bandwidth and resiliency.

  • Rugged for the Edge
Engineered for the toughest environments, featuring extreme temperature tolerance, vibration resistance, and integrated GPS for complete situational awareness.

Whether you need bulletproof backup connectivity or a high-performance network for enterprise, maritime, transport, or remote field deployments, MAX Orbit delivers.

Is there any key differences with this hardware vs the standard BR1, BR1 Pro series - or is this a differnt firmware?

Hi!

Routing performance wise MAX Orbit 2 and MAX Orbit 4 are similar to the BR1 Pro 5G and BR2 Pro 5G.
The difference is in the LAN and WAN ports.

For example the BR2 pro 5G has 2.5Gbps WAN ports and 1Gbps LAN ports. The Orbit 4 has 1Gbps WAN ports and 2.5Gbps LAN ports. Please know that the 2.5Gbps ports are swappable into WAN ports. Usefull if you want to play around with this

The MAX Orbit 8 is similar to the just released Balance 310 5G in performance. Again the LAN and WAN ports are different in configuration.

Hope this helps.
