GPS Protocol Document

I’m working with GPS-SERVERS.NET to see if their service will work with my MAX. I’ve sent them the user manual with the information being requested on the setup page. However, they are insistent that I provide them with a GPS Protocol Document as an attachment via email before then can help me.

Question is, does anyone know of this document and if so, can you point me in the right direction?

haven’t seen a document on this topic anywhere. There are a bunch of forum posts though exploring the options. eg Accessing GPS Info from Pepwave MAX Routers - #24 by mldowling

Hi,

I’m also testing with some Cloud GPS Servers. They are also asking me about the GPS communication protocol documentation for Peplink.

Is it really the same, as local on Port 60660?

What I need is the communication protocol while sending to an external GPS Server. Is it always the standard NMEA 0183 V3.0?

@dennis.hofheinz, do you think GPS Forwarding helps?

MAX device will send the GPS info to the GPS server when this feature enabled.

of course this is the feature I have enabled :wink:

The vendor of the GPS Server is asking me the following question
"Please, send me the communication protocol documentation for Peplink router. "

Now I want to give them as many informations as possible.
