FusionHub relocation causes license failure


A FusionHub License has become invalid after migrating FusionHub to another host.

A license activated FusionHub cannot be transferred to another host for software protection purposes.

To resolve this issue follow these steps:

  • Backup the existing FusionHub configuration file and power it off.

  • Release the FusionHub license on your organization’s Warranty and License page in InControl2.

  • Install a new FusionHub from scratch.

  • Enter the released license into the newly installed virtual machine.

  • After the FusionHub is rebooted, upload the backed up config.

Your FusionHub appliance will now operate as normal.
