Dear @HA13029,
Peplink/Pepwave products configuration files are encrypted and cannot be read/exported as plain text by the users. This is a company policy.
InControl2 keeps configuration changes, which allows to revert back to previous version if necessary.

Kind regards
We have also requested this functionality, but Peplink refuses to allow customers to manage their own data.
Exporting configurations to plain text is a must-have. This “company policy” is unacceptable.
We need a way of generating configurations for 100s of these devices. We build these in automation to reduce error rate and risk as many are being installed in the field where access is very remote and limited. How can we build a template that can be imported that defines APN, hostname, LAN IP etc?
Yeah, I’ve had 3 or 4 times where I have a config and I just need to open it and confirm some values.
We own the device. The idea that we cannot posses the decryption key for our own device and our own work product (the config) is bonkers and incredibly anti-consumer.
The key to the diag files leaked, which is nice, but I shouldn’t be blocked from viewing my own configs.
