I just bought a Max Transit Cat 18 router and bought a SIM card from T-Mobile for data. I logged in and changed the admin password. I was able to connect my iPhone and iPad using the admin logon. However, when I attempted to connect my MacBook it asks for a WPA2 password. The admin password does not work. How do I resolve this to access the network with the computer?
The admin password is for logging into the admin web site. This is different from the wifi password (most of the time- in theory, you could potentially set them to the same value). The wifi passphrase can be seen by navigating to the SSID settings for your wireless network. AP->Wireless SSID. It is labelled as “Shared Key” and there is an option to unmask the value.
