Will Firmware Upgrade Reset IMEI?

Hi,
I have a Max Transit Pro Duo router with the IMEI magic fix.
If I upgrade the firmware version, will it reset the IMEI to the original?

Just to report back and confirm. After firmware update, the IMEI number remain unchanged (i.e. not reset).

This is hardcoded it will never change.

Generally, people who want to “fix” an IMEI are looking to change the IMEI in order to use a mobile plan that is not approved for that device. I don’t know sal’s intentions nor am I saying that sal intends to do this, but that’s what the term “fix” usually means re: an IMEI.
