Hello, I have a question
why when I browse the gui of max br2 devices from the Incontrol position I do not see the GPS screen, it is only visible on one device, the devices are in a place where there is satellite visibility, is this some kind of setting, I will add that the GPS map is always visible after a direct connection to the interface of a specific device via the LAN port (e.g.)
Can you see the GPS location for all devices from InControl2 directly at the group/organization level? Your screenshot is local device interface, not IC2.
If I browse in incontrol2 panel I see the device’s GPS map, but when I go through incontrol2 to the local interface of the device I don’t see the map, when I browse the local interface using the device’s LAN port, I also always see the GPS map
I bet if you launch console in your browser you will see websocket connection failures. This is likely due to the way that Peplink implements the reverse proxy for IC2 connections. However, is there a reason you would want it on the local interface via IC2 instead of just using IC2? If you have access to remote web admin, you also have access to IC2, and if you don’t have access to IC2/RWA, then you wouldn’t see it anyway and you would be relegated to local interface via LAN.
You are right, but I was wondering why one device displays the GPS map this way and the other does not, of course you are right that in the control panel it is enough
Yeah ,I have no idea, but I can’t say I’ve ever looked at the local device interface for GPS information as I default to IC2. Maybe filing a ticket with Peplink can help figure out if this is a feature or a bug?
