Which pep Wi-Fi router is right for me? Primary ISP via Ethernet plus cellular as backup

Hi

I am helping someone with an older pepwave max. Like 7 years old or more. What I want to set up is:

primary wifi via Ethernet, cellular as backup. I guess it doesn’t matter how many lan ports because i could get a switch or 4 ports might be nice.

Needs WiFi.

Also, which provider and cellular plan is best?

Besides the MAX series there is the Balance 20X.

The generic recommendation for our purposes when we deploy a unit is a B20X CAT-7. It has 1Gbps router throughput, wired + cellular WAN, 4 LAN ports and solid Wi-Fi. (Mind you, we are not resellers, so there’s no skin in this game.)

PS: W.r.t cellular provider? Are you in the US? There are so many, and each with numerous plans, not to mention the effect of your location w.r.t. coverage. FWIW, we have been employing Verizon and T-Mobile plans with success.
