What's inside your BR1 Max Pro 5GN?

Well, I was expecting more magnets and springs, but this thing is full of a huge heat sink and then a single, do-it-all, modem, a GPS chipset, a Wi-Fi chipset and some memory. Pretty cool I’d say.
Do not take yours apart, you will void your warranty, I think. Just look at pics of mine.
I’m not masking the SN as only partners and Peplink can see that it’s mine.

Top side of board looks just to be the 5G modem along with power supply. I would imagine the main router SOC and memory is on the bottom.

@jharrell, I didn’t think to look at the other side until I opened my Cradlepoint E300 up and saw what was inside of it and saw it had a double-sided main board.

I know that we are talking about BR1 PRO 5G.
But… let me show what happening, when you need to get a certification of operation in Brazil.

This is just a first step… and the stairs are high.

Great picture Marcelo!

Were you working on a personal certification or getting the DUO approved by the radio/RF administration for Brazil?

Hello.
I work for AT4 (distributor).
We do the Anatel certifications for the products that we sell. (LTE/WiFi)

Love this

Since the cellular modem is a separate module, it would be so nice to be able to upgrade to my MAX BR1 5G to the new modem! Trade in offers were not worth especially since I paid the $1500 price!
