What are lan ports 8000 and 8008 used for (nginx)

Doing a lan scan, I see a new balance out of the box has ports 8000 and 8008 open running nginx. What does the balance use each port for?

Those ports (TCP 8000 & TCP 8008) are captive portal service ports. Coming firmware (version 8.0.1) , the service ports will be disabled out of the box if captive portal is not enabled.
