WebAdmin, Browers, and SSL Certs

I’ve got a Balance 20 that’s been doing a great job since I got it in 2011.

Recently I’ve been having all kinds of problems with Google Chrome reporting “your connection is not private.”

Also, if I leave the “Real Time” graphs running so I can see what the router is doing, it’ll stop when the graphs get about halfway across the display area. Pressing the “Real Time” button to refresh the graph gets another “your connection is not private” error.

If I leave the web admin open on the “Dashboard” page, it’ll sit for a while and then complain about losing the connection to the WebAdmin.

The SSL issue is preventing Firefox from even going to the Router’s web page.

I’ve tried exporting the router’s SSL cert and then importing it into Chrome, to no avail.

Is there a way to get the web interface work with Chrome and/or FF?

I turned “https:” off for the web admin, and so far it’s working w/out complaint.

This still leaves me w/out a functional “https” capability.

Hi,

Browsers only accept certificates signed by a trusted Certificate Authority (CA). You may get a signed certificate from CA and import into Balnace router via Network > Certificate Manager.

Thx! I’ll add the cert to the system and see what happens.
