WAN: Cellular (Priority 1) disconnected loop

I am running into an issue where I get random loops of the network cellular disconnecting and reconnecting.

Below is an excerpt from the logs.

Device is a MAX BR1 Pro 5G with firmware 8.2.1 build 5018
It is basically default with respect to the WAN settings. I have excellent service via a Pepwave Mobility 42G mounted externally on the building. Only one SIM is installed and it is configured as follows:


I am lost as to why this is occurring as it is otherwise rock solid service. The logs don’t provide much information to go on…

I had a similar (but different) loop on my BR1 mini with 8.2.0. I’m guessing these are not the same bug, as my log was showing “health check failed” every 5 seconds. See Peplink | Pepwave - Forum

I’m chasing the same issue with two different AT&T Mobile Broadband plans. Have you learned anything that’s helped?

Looks like this issue has been around for over 2 years. I also have the repeated disconnects on my BR1 mini. Peplink says it normally works that way and doesn’t want to send me new hardware even though it’s still under warrantee. I’ve found that if I put two WiFi connections in priority 1, one of them will have the repeated disconnects. Then moving the one that doesn’t disconnect into position 3 will result in the repeated disconnect moving to position 3 with the connection. This leaves the connection in position 1 without the repeated disconnects.
