I would really like to be able to have multiple VRFs on balance devices, and support that through a tunnel.

Often we want to be able to link particular subnets pairs between sites but not all.

For example:

  • all sites can access a subnet in aws via a fusionhub
  • SiteA-subnet1 can also see SiteB-subnet3
  • SiteA subnet4 can see SiteC-suubnet2

but other subnets cant see each other.

perhaps an part solution could be:

  • supporting different OSPF areas per tunnel
  • supporting BGP peplink-peplink through tunnels

We don’t have a use for it right now, but if we could, it might open up some opportunities…
