Hi, I have a VPN router behind a Max BR1 mini. I can not get the Router VPN Client to connect to the VPN Server when behind the BR1. It does work if the wan connection is connected directly to the VPN client router. But when behind the BR1 I get nothing. The VPN client router uses PPTP and I forwarded 1723 to that router but it still does not work. I would think a client doesn’t need anything to work, but I am wrong it seems.
The configuration is this, StarLink Wan to BR1 Wan, BR1 Lan to VPN Client Router. I am using the BR1 for failover. The VPN Client Router is a TP-Link AX55 (AX3000) that has Client VPN support.
If I take the StarLink Wan and connect it directly to the TP-Link it works fine, but when the BR1 is connected I get nothing.
I have read that I might to setup a GRE Tunnel, but I have no idea how to do that in this setup. The wan IP’s are dynamic.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
