Vlans on different subnets using smart switch

Hello I am using a Peplink Balance One, as my main router/gateway, I created 3 VLANS
VLAN10 → 192.168.10.0/24
VLAN20 → 192.168.20.0/24
VLAN30 → 192.168.30.0/24

my idea it to separate 3 departments within the same company, they dont need to share any resouces, except the SMART SWITCH (TPLINK T1600G-52TS) I am able to create the vlans in the switch and assign them to certain ports, but the clients are still getting IP address as 192.168.1.0/24 (my untagged VLAN), in the switch the clients can not share resources (clients on vlan10 cant see any from vlan20) but the IP scheme is not correct.

Any idea on how can I resolve this issue? currently I am also in contact with TPLINK business support in China, but the timezone difference makes it very hard.

Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome in the Peplink Community,

you have to remove the VLAN ID1 from the Ports where you only want to use the other VLANs

Hope this helps you
