VLAN management using IC2

Good Morning all,

In my humble opinion IC2 should control all management activities when a VLAN is created using IC2 and pushed towards the device. If i create a new VLAN in IC2 , the VLAN is created on the device… Very good, however if i change the default IP address on that VLAN (either IC2 or local) it does not get replicated which might result in different configurations and problems with troubleshooting. Since the RBAC is virtualy non-existant on Peplink IC2 i can not prevent administrator changing IP addresses on a VLAN.

So Feature request is : When VLAN is created using IC2, only IC2 can apply the changes.

Best regards
Ed

If you use the Device IP Settings feature, you can push all LAN IP settings from IC2. If someone makes a change locally, it will get changed back a few seconds later. I think the the VLAN Networks page as a way to centrally manage VLANS and DHCP settings, but Device IP Settings is where all the subnet info lives.
