Video Streaming Pains

Just started using a Peplink MAX BR1 Mini in my rv. Connected through T-Mobile and I have nothing but fail with all of my paid video streaming services. I’m not running any kind of VPN, nor any content blocking that I’m aware of. What do I need to do to get Disney / AppleTV / Prime video flowing through this router?

YouTube works great, fwiw!

What plan with T-Mobile are you using? If it’s a business plan, there is a default business filter on those lines that can be removed with SE approval and a special SOC added to the line.

Do make sure you’re not doing any filtering or firewall content blocking on your BR1 as well, or using a VPN that could be blocked by those services. SpeedFusion is considered a VPN in this case as well.

I purchased my plan through TechnoRV. They call it “pink”. No kind of VPN or speed fusion or blocking happen8ng on my end.

You’ll want to contact TechnoRV. If you have verified you aren’t using SpeedFusion or another VPN (which a lot of streaming providers block), there is likely a block on the carrier side.

I use a dedicated streaming IP leased from torguard with a OVPN wan for my streaming devices, port forwarding works too! Oh how I wish i could have a second ovpn wan license to load balance these between my two ISPs. wink wink @peplink.
