Verizon with MAX-BR1-MINI-LTEA-W-T

Hi,

I’m hoping I can get some assistance here or maybe pointed in the right direction for some help as I’m having some issues?

I received my order from 3GStore of the MAX-BR1-MINI-LTEA-W-T. I have a few sims that are newly activated that I’ve tried to use on them, but they don’t seem to get an IP Address. The device just sits there trying to obtain an IP address. I’ve entered the IMEI/Device ID in the Verizon portal for the specific SIM(1) and still nothing. I’ve also entered the custom verizon APN for static IP’s

I also have a few MAX-BR1-MINI-LTE-US-T. When I take SIM(1) and put it into the LTE-US-T, it comes up with an IP and connects, but only as 3G. The original SIM(2) I have activated in this device, comes up as LTE.

When I take SIM(2) and put into the LTEA-W-T it receives it’s static IP and comes up as LTE-A, which seems to be working.

After that, I’ve taken SIM(1) back into the LTEA-W-T, and still back to the original issue.

Why does it work in the older unit, but only 3G and doesn’t even connect/activate with the newer LTEA-W-T ?

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!

Both models are certified on Verizon so I recommend to contact them as it sounds more like an authentication issue. Thanks

Hi Tim,

Would that be something between the SIM configuration with Verizon? Sorry, a little new to this setup.

Hi Tim,

Thanks! I talked to Verizon Support yesterday and they determined that the SIMs I received is not the preferred SIM for the MAX-BR1-MINI, so I’m working with my Verizon Acct Rep to have them send me the correct SIM SKU

Thanks!
