VDSL Flexmodule and Centurylink

I have CenturyLink DSL in western Washington, which was previously connected to my balance 20x via a C4000LG in transparent bridging mode. Since swapping it with the Peplink VDSL flex module both the VDSL flex module won’t connect, nor will the the previously configured C4000LG.

Has anyone successfully use the VDSL module with centurylink DSL? If so what configuration options did you use? I’ve been told VPI 8 and VCI 35, without any luck. I’ve tried various other VPI / VCI settings I’ve found online, as well as attempting VLAN tagging. The PPPoE credentials are the same and shold be correct, but I’m not even getting to a PPPoE credential error. I’ve got a tech coming out tomorrow, but looking for confirmation of the VDSL module working.

Open a support ticket , I had a fsl from another company before either a balance 30 DSL , and they helped.
Post back here your result.

Hello @chaerd,
Contact your ISP and ask them to do a “DSLAM reset” on the customer port you get connected to at the ISP side. We’ve had to request that when swapping DSL/VDSL modems, it worked most of the time within 15 to 30 minutes (sometimes even quicker).
Happy to Help,
Marcus

Ultimately took a tech to come out and 1) validate the line and 2) call the right tech at CenturyLink to re-enable service after the model swap. I’m up and running on the VDSL flex module on CenturyLink DSL in washington.
