USSD Codes not working with ISP Orange (MAX-BR1-LTE-E-T)

Hello, a colleague of mine purchased a BR1 at my recommendation for use here in West Africa with ISP Orange. They purchased a MAX-BR1-LTE-E-T (HW:1). I have updated it to the latest available firmware (6.3.5 build 2763). I’m troubleshooting for them.

I’m having a problem using the USSD Code feature of the SIM Toolkit. There are several problems:

  1. When I attempt to use the code #1234#, I immediately received the message “Invalid USSD code” in red letters. This code is necessary with Orange to purchase internet passes and check internet balance.

  2. Other required codes seem to be allowed (like #144# or #123#), but I never get a correct reply to these codes. All I receive is the message: “Request is sent successfully”

Note that these codes work fine on my BR1, with firmware 7.1.0 build 2860.

The USSD codes enhancement for 7.1.0 is not included in firmware version 6.3.5. Please open a support ticket here and we can work this out.
