using MAX BR1 Pro LTE in Canada

Hello, i would like to know if some of you are using a peplink BR1 Pro 5G/LTE in canada, especially with Rogers or Bell ? The data sheet say it is certified for US carrier only.

im already a customer of these provider and would ask an additional simcard to put in the BR1.

thanks

Others will be able to provide additional/better information but I’ll offer a minor data point. I travel with a Pro 5G and took it along on a trip to Canada from the USA a couple of weeks ago. I used an AT&T SIM and it roamed beautifully.

I think it depends on your cell phone plan. Unlike @Rick-DC , my current Verizon plan for my Peplink does not work in Canada.

Exactly. I was responding to the “does the hardware work” inquiry. Some plans will work and some won’t – looks like you have one of the latter. I’m betting your hardware would work, however. :<)

thank you to all who answer me. Yes the question was about the hardware. I understand my provider (Bell or Rogers in this cas) has to enable me to join the network with their SIM and my EMEI and this is another story. But before talking to them i wanted to be sure this could work (relative to band and frequency).
