I recently purchased a used (still in box never used) B One 5G from eBay. All seems to be working fine (except the android app that has been removed from the google play store). Is there anything i need to check to make sure it isn’t on someone’s account still? if that’s even a possibility.
sign it up for incontrol, if it lets you, then you are good.

Great! I’ll mess with it tonight. It did let me sign up using the SN but I haven’t turned on incontrol on the B-One to see it online yet (it’s set to disabled now). thank you!

FYI as a warning to others. When i went to purchase a OpenVPN license I was notified that it was a RMA return / water damage. Incontrol2 registered fine and everything else works fine other then that. Whoever owned this device before apparently did a RMA and never shipped it in. The response to my ticket was “they don’t know why this happens”.
it would have saved me loads of time if it was just blacklisted all together and i would have been able to return it. As it sits now I wasted money on something I can’t fully use the way I want finding out the issue months later.
I would file a claim with ebay or cc company

If the unit was sold as “used” (i.e., fully functional) then you can claim a return because of lack of full functionality.
