Unsupported request trying to send SMS MAX Transit Duo

Hello

I’m trying to send an SMS from my MAX Transit Duo. It responds with “fail” status and “Unsupported request” message.

It worked before and now I receiving this response on a several routers.

Other requests such as getting access token and WAN connection status is ok.
I’m tried to put SIM into my phone and to send an SMS and it worked.

The documentation for this router does not contain information about this type of response, as well as possible causes and solutions.

Thank you!

Maybe try to upgrade your firmware?

I’m having the same issue with the same device, did you manage to figure out a solution? I’m running frimware 8.3.0

Actually we didn’t found any solition, it just got work on some devices but not on all.

I had a similar problem when trying to SMS from my modem to activate a T-Mobile account online access. I found a topic that discussed upgrading the cellular modem firmware. This is not the same as the device firmware. I upgraded it, and now the SMS works. You have to refresh the page, however, to receive the SMS texts.

Discussion/process on upgrading the cellular modem firmware can be found here:

I’m having this issue with our BR1 Pro 5g. I’m running 8.5.0 and running cellular firmware T99W175.F0.1.0.0.9_063 (which is the latest). Trying to send an SMS gives me;

{
“stat”: “fail”,
“code”: 404,
“message”: “Unsupported request”
}

Anyone any clue?
