Yes, the antenna is on a windowsill and is known to provide GPS fix when attached to other GPS enabled devices from different manufacturers. It would be great if a feature could be added to the MAX BR1 user interface that would indicate whether a device is getting a fix. Displaying the GPS coordinates would also be very helpful to ensure accuracy of the GPS fix. I have already engaged support at the re-seller we purchased this BR1 from and they will be processing the device in an RMA.
