Unable to connect remotely via incontrol

Hi,

Are there currently any other people having issues with remotely connecting via incontrol2?

I seem to have this issue with some of the devices i support. (Pepwave MAX BR1 LTE)

The strangest thing is that the issue is not consistent. One moment the issue is there and the other moment i can connect just fine.

Restarting the device does not help unfortunately.

It happens with devices all over Europe. Different Telecom Providers.

All firmware versions. We use 7.1.0 build 2860 and 7.1.0s026 build 2898.

Could it be the service that is the issue?

We didn’t receive any complaint on this and we didn’t find an issue here. This mostly related to the connection between devices and InControl2.

You may need to check if you can ping ac1.peplink.com and ac2.peplink.com from the LAN of the device when the problem occurs.

You may need to check whether the device initials outbound TCP 443 after you triggered Remote Web Admin from InControl2. You may trace this by doing the Network Capture at http://<LAN IP>/cgi-bin/MANGA/support.cgi. Please contact local Peplink partner if you need further help.
