UDP packets and Drop In Mode

Hi all… I have a Pepwave MAX BR1 Mini unit operating in Drop-In mode… It is connected between the station end of a WLAN bridge and a switch at a remote site. Prior to installing the BR1, all devices communicated normally. However, after installing it, two devices that use UDP port 40000 for status messaging, can’t communicate. TCP ports all work fine, ie web and SNMP. I’ve attached a functional fyi… The devices in question are the HDLinks.

Suggestions?

SOLVED: Its always the simple stuff… There was a firewall policy on the Router Gateway device that was blocking the traffic…

Thanks for listening…

Have a great day…

Well given SNMP is UDP not TCP that suggests that perhaps UDP is working at some level?

If you go to the support.cgi page on the Br1 and run a packet capture do you see the traffic enter and leave the BR1?

Ah, looks like you solved the problem anyway - not sure why I didn’t see your own response before I replied.
