Perhaps. However that will depend on whether there is enough bandwidth on the tower you are connecting to.
In rural locations where towers can be at the end of a chain of repeated microwave links, you can easily max it out with a single 4G connection.
I have had great results in the UK on vodafone when I used directional antennas on a Transit Duo pointing them in opposite directions and so picking up different towers.
