Hello,
I want to share my simple home SpeedFusion and outbound policy setup after trying way too many things to make random (unsupported, unforeseen, evolving) video chat apps (Discord, WhatsApp, etc) that our house uses all go over SpeedFusion … but not have everything go over SFC.
In short, I needed to stop playing “whack-a-mole” with precise traffic identification and just embrace that the web is fairly robust against failures, unlike other protocols. Therefore steer a few key protocols directly to WANs and then steer random UDP over a WAN smoothing tunnel, and random TCP over a dynamically bonded SF tunnel.
Also in my scenario, unlimited devices includes smart TVs, speakers, game consoles, NAS servers, etc. Basically anything that might consume an unhinged amount of data.
And of course if Google Workspace or Microsoft Teams are important to your setup, you can still add those to your SF setup and they’ll trigger before the HTTPS/QUIC policies.
Anyway, I hope this helps someone! ![]()
