The USB-C ports on the front of my 2021 CAT-18 Max Transit

Are those actually USB-C ports? Do those support connecting a Max Adapter to them to add another cellular modem like the 5G version.

Micro USB (not USB-C) and they are used for powering the device off a power brick when doing portable testing. My understanding is that they are only wired to the DC power bus, there is no data transmission in those ports.
