The Peplink x65 routers currently shipping?

I have one, brand new out of the box, reporting M0R.140005(45.00.145_5706-060100)

The BR2 is on 8.5.0.

Do we think we’ll see an x65 version of the B One, or will they source a different supplier for x62 modems?

We need to see a different supplier for future modems. Quectel is now 1260H so equipped devices are not NDAA/TAA compliant, and that’s a huge no-go for many of my clients.

I picked up an off-the-shelf FN990A40-HP modem, and am going to try popping it into an MBX Mini later this week. Can report back.

New FN990A40-HP reports fw version M0R.140005 in MBX Mini running 8.5.3 build 6126 . Doesn’t seem to be well supported though in this -5GH hardware unit…I wonder if the new Telit modem is somewhat ignored, since the hardware isn’t a -5GK?
