Temperature and power supply logs

Good Evening
Love the fact that we now get temperature and power supply input info from some of the newer devices and hardware revisions.

Could we please start logging this info?

Temperature logging (especially in IC2 when a device goes offline) would help in seeing that a device got too hot before it went offline and would also be nice to see a temperature on a chart over the day. This would be good to be able to hand info onto clients that they require more air flow or constant air flow rather than on/off fans etc…

With the power supply (HD4 HW3 & Switch) it would be nice to have log info (and even notifications) when power inputs are turned on and off.

Also the addition of the power info from the HD4 to IC2 (like the Switch has)

@SamuelNorris, if this is going to be implemented, what would be the interval (eg. minutes, seconds) you think it is more appropriate for the logging?

For temperature, I think every minute would be sufficient.
With power, It would need to be more often.

I agree this is a very useful feature. I have put the SD-Switch 24 at home in a corner of the kitchen and it is interesting to see the unit survives in a pretty high temperature.

Just another thought, FAN speed could also be recorded.
