The timestamps being reported from PV sentences on the TAIP GPS forwarder are being sent out as being ahead of real-time.
(ex.
- Current time: Monday, February 5, 2018 17:00:00 PM UTC,
- TAIP message time: Monday, February 5, 2018 17:00:15 PM UTC).
I understand that in TAIP time is reported as a number of seconds since the start out the day (00:00:00). I can verify this parsing is done properly as I am testing another product that outputs TAIP and the same problem does not exist.
This problem can be duplicated on two separate MAX BR1s, both running the latest firmware (7.1.0 build 2860). System time can be verified as being proper on the Status > Device page (one would assume the GPS time is meant to be pulled from the satellite’s though).
I have also tried switching between NMEA and TAIP. NMEA sentences report at the proper current time, not in the future.
Is there a setting I have missed somewhere? I don’t see anything in the support.cgi panel pertaining to this.
