I was looking at doing the Calx institute T-Mobilev5G program And putting the sim in my max transit duo.
Does anyone have Experience with Calyx , T-Mobile and 4 or 5 g sims?
I read old posts that sprint locked the sims to the d meid device? Is that true with Tmobile tia
Some time ago on another forum I saw someone who seems to provide rural internet as a business say something like “I’ve installed hundreds of Calyx SIMs in better devices and none have ever been shut down”. Then he qualified it with “hmm … that was with Sprint, not sure about T-Mobile”.
So … I don’t know. I watch a few forums quite closely and still haven’t heard a direct report of someone being shut down but then … most of the people on the forums I watch change the IMEI of their router / modem to match the Calyx device. I can report that works very well :). Unfortunately that is not an option with a Pepwave.
