Synergy Influence on Palo Alto Global Protect VPN?

Greetings. I am a newbie with Peplink and I am looking for help with an interesting problem. Let me lay it out.

Hardware & Connection Method:
I have a BR1 Mini 5G HW3 with a T-Mobile SIM inserted and activated (Connection A). It is connected to a B One via a WAN port and controlled through the Synergy. In addition, I have an Inseego MiFi X Pro (5G) that is connected to the B One’s 2nd WAN port (Connection B). The Inseego MiFi X Pro is also using a T-Mobile connection.

Problem Statement:
My work laptop utilizes the Palo Alto Global Protect VPN to connect to my company’s internal websites. I cannot connect get to any internal work websites with Connection A. However, Connection B works without issue.

Test Cases:

  • Connection A’s internet connection is valid for any entertainment website such as Netflix, YouTube TV, and any other website. This connection method does not work for any connection through Global Protect’s VPN. Global Protect’s connection is valid so long as I do not access any internal website. This has been validated on second work laptop.
  • Connection B’s internet connection does NOT fail for any entertainment website, any other website, and any work connection. This has been verified on two different work laptops both with the Global Protect VPN.
  • When Connection A & B are combined in B One, the internet connection will work so long as Connection B is the chosen path for the work laptops. If I remove Connection B from B One, then Connection A is alone and does not work with the work laptops.
  • Both Connections have different gateways & DNS servers (A: 192.0.0.3/192.0.0.1; B: 192.001/192.0.0.3) even though they are approximately 12 feet apart.
  • Connection A’s WAN connection as well has a different IP/Gateway/DNS address.

Observations:

  • Connection A uses Synergy and it will not allow access to company’s internal websites through Global Protect VPN.
  • Connection B uses a physical WAN connection and does allow access to the company’s internal websites.
  • Connection A & B have different connections to T-Mobile even though their proximity is very close.

Final Questions:

  • Does the change in IP address due to Synergy cause the issue?
  • Is there a setting in the Web Portal that I can change?

I look forward to any thoughts on this.

Thanks!
