Surf SOHO compatible USB modems at Sprint

Hi,
Sprint is no longer offering any of the specific modems in the compatibility list.
Current choices are
Franklin U772
R850
R910

You list the Franklin U770 as compatible. Have you checked the U772 to see if it’s close enough?

Thanks. My current modem (an AirCard 771S (NETGEAR® Zing Mobile Hotspot™)) is old and starting to be flaky.

I looked at that page you suggested, but it doesn’t fit my case for 2 reasons:

  1. I don’t own the modem I asked about. I am considering buying it.
  2. I don’t have a wired internet connection at all, so your remote-connect procedure wouldn’t work.

I was hoping that Peplink would be able to comment on whether the U772 or any other of Sprint’s current offerings has been tried since the last time the “Supported 3G/4G LTE USB Modem” list was updated.

As I said, for now I’m connecting my aging AirCard 771S to the Surf’s USB.
I hope that one of Sprint’s current potential replacements will be on your supported list soon.

Hi,
Yes, the U772 works with the same software version as the U770.
I tried it today. Sweaty palms for a few minutes, then all OK.
