Surf SOHO 8.3.0 Upgrade Fails

Hi,

I’ve been trying to upgrade my SOHO MK3 HW1 from 8.0.0 to 8.3.0 but it hangs or does nothing.

A) if i select ‘download and upgrade’ - it says it’s downloading - then the screen just stays stuck there and nothing happens.

  • refresh browser and it’s back say it’s on 8.0.0 and firware check says 8.3.0 available…

B) if I download the firmware for SOHO MK3 HW1 from peplink site then do a manual upgrade, selecting the .bin file, it then says it’s upgrading , with yellow progress bar, then still says its 8.0.0

Ahhh - Iv’e just noticed that it says “Firmware 2 non bootable”

Any thoughts / suggestions please?

Based on the issue description, potential this can be related to the boot partition issue and cause the upgrade process stopped. Support team will check from the device and see whether we can help for your issue.
