Surf OTG setup with Alfa Tubes

I am hoping someone can help. I am trying to setup a Surf OTG to operate with:

Alfa Tube U4G Here
and
Alfa Tube 2H Here

Problem 1. is to get the 4G modem to respond to the Surf. Adding all the setting information to the cellular tab in the setup does not help, I think I have tried every combination.

Similarly the WiFi station once plugged into the WAN port appears to block getting to the Surf’s webpage 192.168.20.1.

Has anyone used either of these devices with a Surf OTG? Any thoughts will be appreciated, thanks.

Problem 1 might be a compatibility issue between the two devices.
I don’t see any supported Alfa USB modems in Peplink’s 4G/3G USB modem compatibility list.

I’d suggest opening a ticket with Peplink support, so that they can take a look at it.
They can also help you with making the Alfa USB modem compatible with your Surf OTG.
