I’m running a Surf OTG, hardware version 2.1, firmware version 1.0.18 dated 2012-08-06.
The firmware appears outdated, as the peplink support site indicates firmware 1.0.26 is available, however the online firmware check tool on the Surf’s admin page indicates that 1.0.18 is current.
I’d normally leave it alone, however the Surf’s server certificate is expired, and I’d like to fix that.
Any harm in updating Surf OTG to 1.0.26? I just want to make sure that I’m not trying to apply an invalid firmware to legacy hardware.
