Support Request – Non-Functional SIM Slots on Peplink UBR LTE Router

Hello,

We currently have two units of the Peplink UBR LTE SpeedFusion Router + PrimeCare (Model: UBR-LTE-US-T-PRM) in which none of the four physical SIM card slots are functioning.

We would like to understand what options are available to evaluate their repair or replacement. Please let us know the process to proceed with troubleshooting, service evaluation, or an RMA if applicable.

For reference, we can provide the serial numbers and any additional diagnostic information you may require.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,

Hello @Camila_Pita,
Welcome to the Peplink Community Forum.
Please never post your device’s serial number on any public forum.

The best place to ask for this sort of support is from your registered Peplink Partner that you purchased the devices from ( https://www.peplink.com/buy/peplink-certified-partners/ ).

If they are unable to help you, raise a Peplink Support Ticket for assistance ( https://www.peplink.com/support/ ) referencing this chat thread.

Once you have raised your support ticket, post the ticket number here so the ticket and this thread are linked.

You can also check that units are running the latest available firmware. This can be done from InControl2 (if they have a current Care pack active), or you can check manually from the Peplink downloads website ( https://www.peplink.com/support/downloads/firmware/ ). In addition to the router’s firmware, you may also need to check the internal cellular chipset firmware. This is done in the router’s web admin: change “index.cgi” to “support.cgi” in the URL (and delete everything after the “.cgi” in the address bar), then select the “Cellular module firmware update” option.

Hope that this gets you on the path to solving your issues,

For Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific region, you are welcome to reach out to Rising Connection Pty Ltd to enquire about local support options.

Have a good week,
Marcus
