Static Routing Configuration under Drop-in mode

Hi

If the current config for my case is:

FW ---------------- Peplink---------ISP1

FW Interface IP 192.168.1.125/28
Peplink WAN1/LAN1 IP 192.168.1.124/28
ISP1 IP: 192.168.1.126/26

If I want to pass the traffic from ISP1 to the subnet 192.168.1.64/26 behind FW

With the above setting,

By configuring Static Routing under LAN setting in Peplink 580 with 192.168.1.64/26 with GW 192.168.1.125

can it fulfill to route 192.168.1.64/26 to LAN ?

Also With WAN2 configured as NAT mode,

the static route still works for WAN2 inbound traffic to 192.168.1.64/26 after NAT mapping?

I assume Firewall is running transparent mode and NAT is performed on ISP1 (believe this is internet gateway like modem/router)

  1. By configuring Static Routing under LAN setting in Peplink 580 with 192.168.1.64/26 with GW 192.168.1.125 . Can it fulfill to route 192.168.1.64/26 to LAN ?
    Yes.

  2. Also With WAN2 configured as NAT mode, the static route still works for WAN2 inbound traffic to 192.168.1.64/26 after NAT mapping?
    Yes. This is workable since you will do NAT Mapping on WAN2 (e.g. x.x.x.x –> 192.168.1.65) then Balance router will route 192.168.1.64/26 to Firewall.
