Currently your customer is using a very old firmware version, since then we have made a vast amount of security, stability, performance and usibility improvements, not to mention the array of added features. In most cases, we recommend all customers to use the latest available firmware.
Now on the Terrapin attack, it’s CVE entry states that the attack was fixed in OpenSSH version 9.6 - Peplink 8.5.2 firmware uses an even newer version of OpenSSH. Thus a firmware upgrade should solve the issue.
