SpeedFusion: Why does latency seem to move in tandem?

I’m trying to understand why the latency on two completely different connections seems to move in tandem, either in the same direction or inversely.

Or, am I reading these charts right? (A little confused about the throughput, as it doesn’t seem to be getting logged correctly?)

I’m using two LTE SIMs:

  1. Verizon
  2. T-Mobile over wifi via a hotspot

I have noticed that two separate speedfusion tunnels using the same WANs will show vastly different latency. For example 23ms versus 200ms. I dont know if its just lag in the logging or what but its caught my attention.
