SpeedFusion WAN connection prioritization

I’m having trouble configuring SpeedFusion to prioritize connections the way I want.

My goal is to have high-priority traffic (target address high-priority.example.com) go over a SpeedFusion tunnel with WAN smoothing enabled, using both WiFi and Cellular.
All other traffic is low-priority, and should use WiFi if it is up; else cellular.

I attempted to configure this by setting:
In “Dashboard”, “Cellular” is priority 2, “WiFi WAN” is priority 3
In the SpeedFusion profile on the modem, “WAN Connection Priority” is set to “1 (Highest)” for all WANs.

This does not appear to work. The SpeedFusion connection uses only the WiFi when it’s up, losing the advantage of WAN smoothing.

I can’t find anything in the docs that cover the interaction between the main WAN connection priority and the SpeedFusion WAN connection priority.

High-priority traffic is sent over SpeedFusion using an “Outbound Policy” with “enforced connection” set to the SpeedFusion WAN (this is working correctly).

Setup details:
Modem: MAX BR1 Pro 5G
FW: 8.2.1 build 5372
SpeedFusion server: Peplink FusionHub in AWS
FW: 8.0.2s127

I found the answer a couple of posts back in this forum: Peplink | Pepwave - Forum
